Small businesses are part of what makes this country amazing, and part of what makes small businesses tic is personal referrals, word of mouth, and in 2026, online reviews. I was personally referred to Gabe, who owns Bighouse Automotive, and I can say without hesitation that I will NEVER have ANYONE else work on ANY of my vehicles as long as he’s in business. I dare you to find a better mechanic or a better man doing mechanic work within 100 miles of CDA. He is simply the best!!!

We were 8 hours from home and halfway through our journey when we ran into a mechanical issue. Gabe was super helpful, super accommodating and was able to diagnose a couple issues and repaired them quickly, all done after 6pm on a Sunday. He replaced a CV axle, serpentine belt and the belt tensioner and was done in under an hour. He was very gracious and empathetic to our stress and helped ease the anxiety. Highly recommend for any mechanical needs!

Great service! My call was answered quickly on a Sunday with service given sooner than expected the next day. Gabe was honest, gave great advice, communicated very well, and was overall very helpful in confirming a suspected fuel pump failure in my 2016 Rogue. I would gladly call him again in the future.

Got into town from Seattle headed back to Colorado and called Gabe to see if he could fit me in to take a look at my truck. We had been getting exhaust gas in the cab. He said he could take a look two days out. Then he came the next day and found that the turbo had come off the manifold. No studs or nut left and only half the gasket. Got the parts ordered and came back three days later to finish the repair, now all is running great and no exhaust gas. He even helped tow the truck to a spot as we needed to move our camper after extending our stay. He also offered to move our trailer. I had checked 3 dealers and 4 independent shops before calling Bighouse Automotive mobile. Gabe is a professional and a nice guy to boot. He helped us out, hope he can help you with any jobs you might have for him too. Thanks Gabe!
